FAQ’S
What is the Dress Code?
We kindly request formal attire. This dress code is elegant and elevated, but not black-tie. Think long or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and tailored suits with ties. Dress to impress and be ready to dance the night away!
Is the Ceremony and Reception at the Same Place?
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Ashton Gardens. The chapel and ballroom are on the same property, so no additional travel is needed.
What Time Should I Arrive?
Please plan to arrive between 4:00 and 4:45 PM to allow time for parking and finding your seat before the ceremony begins.
Are There Hotels Nearby?
Yes! Please visit our Travel & Stay page for nearby hotel recommendations and booking information.
What if I Have Food Restrictions?
Please list any food restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
Can I Bring a Plus One?
To keep our celebration intimate, we are limiting plus-ones. If your invitation includes a guest, it will be reflected in your RSVP. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.
Can I Bring My Kids?
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you so much for understanding.
What if My Question Isn’t Listed?
Please feel free to contact either the Mother of the Bride (Ryanne Ahlman – 972-900-1307) or the Mother of the Groom (Elise McKeller – 972-658-4533).
What Should I Do if I Can’t Attend?
If you’re unable to make it, please RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly. We’ll miss you and appreciate your well wishes!
Can I Take Pictures During the Ceremony?
We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that phones and cameras be put away until cocktail hour. We can’t wait to share our professional photos with you afterward!
